Grid resembles Tabular except lines separate the columns. The lines make it easier to size the columns and align data in the DataWindow in the development environment and at runtime.  In addition, the lines display in the DataWindow when you place it in a window or print it as a report.

Note: If you select Grid as the presentation style for a window, you cannot change the presentation style of a DataWindow to freeform by moving the columns, fields, and graphic objects.
