In the Window and User Object Painters, use Size Controls on the Edit Menu to make controls the same height or width.  In the DataWindow Painter, use Size Objects on the Edit Menuto make columns, fields, and graphic objects in the DataWindow the same height or width.

To size controls and DataWindow objects:

  1. Select the controls or objects you want to size.  PowerBuilder uses the width and height of first control or object you select as the standard width and height.
  2. TIP:   To select multiple controls, objects, or DataWindow columns, press Ctrl and click the controls, objects, or columns you want to select.

  3. Select the Size menu item from the Edit Menu.  The sizing options display.
  4. Click the option that represents the way you want to size the objects:
    1. The top option makes the selected controls, objects, or columns the same width as the standard width.

The bottom option makes the selected controls, objects, or columns the same height as the standard height.

  5. Click the OK button to close the Size window and adjust the sizes.
