To select a font family (for example,Arial or Modern) to use for text:

  1. Select the text.
  2. Use the mouse to move the pointer to the font drop-down list box in the ribbon. In the Window Painter and the User Object Painter, you can press Ctrl+F to move to the font drop-down list box.
  3. Enter a font or select the font from the list.  The default font is your system font.
  4. Use the mouse to move the pointer to the font size drop-down list box in the ribbon. In the Window Painter and the User Object Painter, you can press Ctrl+Z to move to the font size drop-down list box.
  5. Enter a size or select a size for the font in the list.  The default size is the default size of your system font.  The size is in pixels and is adjusted for display on the user's monitor.
  6. Select the style you want to use by clicking the appropriate style button in the ribbon (Bold, Italic, or Underline).  The default is normal weight (400), and no italic or underline.
  7. TIP:   You can also select a style by pressing:

             Ctrl+B for Bold

             Ctrl+I for Italic

             Ctrl+U for Underline

  8. Select the text color by clicking the primary mouse button in the color in the color bar.  The default color is the color specified for text in the application.
