You can use comments to provide information about objects in a PowerBuilder library (for example, to indicate how the object is used).  In the Library Painter, you can add comments to objects that do not have comments and modify comments currently associated with an object.

TIP:   You can also associate comments with an object when you use Save or Save As to save the object.

To add or modify comments:

1. Open the Library Painter by clicking in the Library Painter icon on the Power Panel.
2. Expand the library containing the objects for which you want to add or modify comments. 
3. Select the objects for which you want to add or modify comments. 
4. Select Modify Entry Comments from the Objects menu.  The Modify Entry Comments window displays the name of the current library and any comments associated with the library.
5. Add new comments or review and modify any existing comments as necessary. 

TIP:   To display the comments for the next objects without changing the comments for the current object, click Skip.

6. Click the OK button to save the comments and return to the Library window.
