In an application, the user will often run a window minimized.  To display an icon when the window is minimized, associate an icon with the window in the Window Style window.  The default ico is the application icon.

To associate an icon with a window:

  1. Select Window Style from the Design Menu.  The style options for the window display along with a model of the window. The model shows the style options that are currently in effect for the window.
  2. Click the Icon button in the Window Style window.  The Select Icon window displays:
    1. The icon files in the current directory

The directories on the current drive

The stock icons defined in the application

TIP:   To display the icon files in another directory, select a directory from the list or enter the name of the directory in the Directory Name box.  A list of icon files in the selected directory displays.

  3. Select a file from the list or enter the name of the file (including the extension .ICO) that contains the icon in the Icon Name box.  The icon displays at the right of the box.  If it is not the correct icon, select again until you find the correct one.
  4. Click the OK button to associate the icon with the window.
