To customize the PowerBar or a painter tool bar to fit the way you work:
- Open the Customize window:
Click the right mouse button in the toolbar you want to customize and then click the Customize button in the dropdown toolbar menu.
or
Select Toolbars from the Window menu, the Toolbar window displays. Select the toolbar you want to customize from the list in the window and then click the Customize button.
Tip You cannot customize the ColorBar or StyleBar.
The Customize window displays with the selected toolbar in the Current Toolbar box.
- Click the radio button representing the icon palette you want to use to customize the toolbar. The palette displays in the Selected Palette box.
- Modify the toolbar:
To add an icon, press and hold the mouse button in the icon you want in the Selected Palette box and drag it to the toolbar in the Current Toolbar box, and drop it.
Tip A description of the selected icon displays in MicroHelp. If the icon is unassigned, a box will prompt you to assign it. You can assign it now or the first time you try to use the icon.
To delete an icon, drag the icon from the current toolbar and drop it anywhere outside the current toolbar box.
- Click the OK button. PowerBuilder saves the toolbar to the configuration shown in the Current Toolbar box.
Tip To add icons from more than one palette to the current toolbar, repeat steps 2 and 3.
To add spaces between icons, drag the blank icon from the Selected Palette box and drop it where you want the space.
