Window

Name

    The default name for the graph. You should change the default to a name that conforms to your naming conventions and is meaningful within your application.

Title

    Enter the title of the graph. The default is none.

Options

    Legend

      Enter the location (top, bottom, left, or right) of the legend or select the location from the list in the dropdown listbox. The default is bottom.

    Overlap (% of Width)

      Enter an integer representing the percent you want the width of the objects in the graph to overlap. The default is 0 (no overlap).

    Spacing (% of Width)

      Enter an integer representing the spacing you want between objects as a percent of the width of the object. The default is 100 (the full width of the object).

Text box

    To edit the characteristics of title or legend text, click the button representing the type of text (Title or Legend) for which you want to change the characteristics.

Axis box

    To edit the characteristics of an axis, click the button representing the axis (Series, Category, or Value) for which you want to change the characteristics.

    Only the buttons that are appropriate for the current graph type are active; the other buttons are grayed.

OK button

    To save the graph definition, click OK.

Cancel button

    To close the Graph window without saving any changes, click Cancel.

Type button

    To change the graph type, click Type. The Graph Type window displays representations of the available graph types. Select a type.

3D button

    To change the point of view or the depth of a 3D graph, click 3D. The 3D Graph Options window displays. Make any desired changes.
