You can save the Data Pipeline definition as an object. When you close the Data Pipeline painter or close the current pipeline definition, PowerBuilder prompts you to save the pipeline. If you click Yes, the save dialog displays. Enter a name for the pipeline and click OK.

After you save a pipeline, you can dynamically execute the pipeline from a script in your application or use it again later in the development environment to copy updated data from the source database.
