You can create multiple column reports in the DataWindow or Report painter.

To create a multi-column report:

Select the number and size of the newspaper columns in the Print Specifications dialog on the Design menu. When you specify a number of columns in the Print Specifications dialog, the data is snaked like in a newspaper (the data fills the first column, then the second, and so on). This option is available for all DataWindow styles except Label and Graph.

You can also suppress a computed field or object (that displays in any area other than the detail area) so it prints only when the page changes. For example, to make the page number to display only once on each page or the date to appear at the top of the page only once, suppress the appropriate field.

To suppress a field or object:

Select Layer from the popup menu for the field or object and select Suppress After First. If you do not suppress it, the field or object will appear in every column.

Tip       To move the suppressed field to the center or left of the report, drag it to that position.
