The performance of the sort in DataWindows and reports has improved for sorts that do not involve expressions. Tests show this is about five times faster when sorting strings and six times faster when sorting numbers.

Preview data is retained so that you do not have to wait while the system retrieves the data when you move between design and preview mode. When you preview a DataWindow for the first time, the data is retrieved and saved in a buffer until you close the DataWindow.
