Horizontal and vertical scrolling is available in Print Preview. This means that when you have a report or DataWindow that is wider than the preview window, it will scroll to display the entire report. For example, if the report has two pages and both pages exceed the width of the window, when you are on page 1 and page down the right-hand portion of the report that was hidden displays. Page down again and the left hand side of the next page displays. Page down again to display the hidden portion of page 2. When you page up, the report scrolls in reverse.
Preview data is retained so that you do not have to wait while the system retrieves the data when moving between design and preview mode. When you preview a DataWindow for the first time, the data is retrieved and saved in a buffer until the you close the DataWindow.
Changing margins
You can change the margins of a report in Print Preview in the Report and DataWindow painters and in Preview in the Report painter.
