The InfoMaker Setup program automatically registers reports with Windows. But if you need to manually register Powersoft reports, follow these steps:

1. Make sure the directory containing PS.REG and IM040.EXE are in your path. These should be in your InfoMaker directory.
2. Run REGEDIT using Run on the File menu in Windows Program Manager.

The Registration Info Editor opens.

3. Select Merge Registration File from the File menu.

The Merge Registration File window opens.

4. Open the directory containing the file PS.REG (it should be in your InfoMaker directory), select PS.REG, and click OK.

A message displays stating that the registration was successful.

Now you can use OLE 2.0 and embed Powersoft 4.0 reports in your Word documents.
