In Version 4.0, the PVCS Registration Description dialog always prompts for a description and provides the PowerBuilder object comment as the default. In 3.0, if an object had a PowerBuilder comment, the comment was automatically the registration description.

A Cancel button has been added to the Registration Description dialog.

A Cancel button has been added to the Check In dialog.

New Connect menu item for source control

The Source menu of the Library painter has a new menu item named Connect. The new Connect Dialog allows you to specify or change a Source Control vendor name, and sets the SourceVendor in PB.INI to the selected value. Since this sets the SourceVendor in PB.INI, you will only need to perform the connect option when setting up the initial environment.
