Description

The Browser has context-sensitive Help. Depending on what is highlighted in the Browser, you can display a Help topic on the Browser, the object class or control, or a PowerBuilder function.

Purpose

You have easy access to information about properties, events, and functions for the object you're working with and to examples you can copy and paste into your application's scripts.

Usage

Display the popup menu in either pane and select the Help menu option.

The Help information that displays depends on what you have selected in the Browser window.

 

When this is selected	In this pane	Help on this topic displays
An object or control	Left	The selected object or control type
A function	Right	The selected function
A folder or An item under any folder except Functions	Right	The selected object class

Context-sensitive Help is not available for some new objects and functions. For more information about new objects and functions, see the What's New Help.
