PowerBuilder 6.5 supports the following new or enhanced database connectivity features:

  • Support for the DBGetTimeDBParm in the SYT Sybase SQL Server DB-Lib interface
  • New CallEscapeDBParm for the Powersoft ODBC interface
  • Support for the following DBParms in the SYC Sybase Systems 10.x and 11.x interface and the SYD Sybase Systems 10.x and 11.x distributed application interface on UNIX:
    • DBTextLimit
    • MaxConnect
    • OptSelectBlob
  • New Sybase DirectConnectinterface  for DB2/MVS databases
  • Support for the Oracle 8.0 database interface on all supported platforms is now final.
