The following native database interfaces are no longer supported in PowerBuilder 7.

• Informix INET 5 (IN5)
• Microsoft SQL Server 4.x DB-Lib (SYB)
• Oracle 7.1 (O71)
• Oracle 7.2 (O72)
• Sybase Net-Gateway for DB2 (NET)
• Sybase InformationConnect DB2 Gateway (MDI)
• Sybase SQL Server DB-Lib (SYT)

The following ODBC drivers are no longer supported in PowerBuilder 7.

• INTERSOLV Excel 4
• INTERSOLV Paradox 4
• INTERSOLV Scalable SQL

Usage

The functionality available in the Net and MDI Gatway interfaces is now available using the DirectConnect interface, which accesses the Sybase DirectConnect server and its DB2/MVS and TRS access services.
