Create a new object

Select the tab for the object type in the New dialog box, select the target for the object in the Target dropdown listbox, then select the icon for the object. Only targets appropriate for each object type display in the Target listbox

Open an object for editing

Double-click the icon for the object in the System Tree or Library painter
 or
 Select Edit from the popup menu for the object in the System Tree, Library painter, or Browser
 or
 Select File>Open or click the Open button
