You can save data to the Excel format used by Microsoft Excel 97 (version 8) and later versions. To do so, select Excel8 in the Save as Type drop-down list in the Save As dialog box in the DataWindow painter, or specify Excel8 as the saveastype argument to the SaveAs function.
